Bio 21 Stage 2C is a 3 storey Advanced Microscopy Facility and includes the preservation of the heritage listed market wall.

The project includes the refurbishment of the historic Veterinary Research Institute Building and retention of the heritage facade. There are very onerous terms of permissible vibration allowances on the structure and the building services requiring a fully isolated inertia slab. Furthermore, the facility must maintain constant power, temperature control and shielding requirements to accommodate the $10m Titan Krios electron microscope.
