Provision of exacting project management in program, scope control and cost management sets the Sports Park Precinct up for victory.

The La Trobe Sports Park, once all three stages are completed, will be a unique environment where community members participate in sport and physical activity alongside elite athlete programs, where university students and the sport industry collaborate, and where world class sport research thrives.

Delivered through 3 stages, the La Trobe Sports Park includes the following:

• 9x indoor courts, including 1x show courts to seat 1,500 spectators,
• 3x synthetic football pitches,
• 2x natural grass football pitches,
• 1x baseball diamond,
• 1x AFL senior oval with the same playing surface area as the MCG, plus 1x ALF junior oval,
• Dedicated office accommodation for 200 state and community sport organisation staff,
• conference and training centre for community sport,
• World class teaching and research laboratories,
• Professional sports medicine consulting suites,
• 5 star green star, 6 star green star communities rating.
